The Future of Generative Graphics: Can AI Become a Real Artist?
Lately I’ve been using AI tools for quick concept sketches, and it’s both inspiring and weirdly humbling. I used to think only people could capture “emotion” in art, but now I see AI creating stuff that looks surprisingly expressive. It made me wonder — if these models keep learning from human art styles, could they actually reach a point where they’re considered real artists? Or is that title something only people can earn through experience and intent?

That’s such a great point. I’ve been playing around with drawnudes to explore composition and lighting ideas, and I’ve noticed that while the AI can mimic technique almost perfectly, it still lacks context — it doesn’t mean anything by what it creates. I think the key difference is that we bring emotions and stories to our work. AI is great at amplifying that, but it’s still us steering the direction, at least for now.
